Terms of Use

Beta status

Audiosent remains under research, development and evaluation. Features may change, be restricted, become temporarily unavailable, or be withdrawn as the product develops.

Authorised use

Accounts are personal to the individual they are issued to. Users must not:

  • share their account credentials with another person
  • impersonate another person
  • attempt to access accounts or material they are not authorised to access
  • attempt to bypass platform safeguards

Recording and consent

Audiosent requires recording consent to be documented through the established consent workflow before a consultation recording can begin. This does not remove a Healthcare Professional’s or institution’s broader legal, clinical, ethical and professional responsibilities regarding consent and recording.

AI-assisted material

  • A Transcript and AI Summary may involve automated processing of a consultation recording.
  • Automated outputs may contain errors and should not be treated as verified merely because they exist.
  • Relevant clinical artefacts are subject to clinician review and approval where required before a Patient sees them.
  • Key Moments are lightweight navigation aids, not an independently significant clinical record.
  • AI assistance supports, but does not independently make, clinical decisions.
  • Audiosent does not offer Patient-generated AI transcription or summarisation.

Patient use

Audiosent helps Patients revisit information from their own consultation. It is not emergency care, and it is not a substitute for the advice of a healthcare professional or for seeking medical attention.

Trusted-person sharing

A Patient who creates a third-party sharing link is responsible for deliberately creating and distributing that link. A valid link may be used by anyone who possesses it until it expires or is revoked — Audiosent cannot verify the identity of a person who opens a link.

Patients should therefore share a link only with people they trust, and should revoke a link once they no longer want it to be accessible. Audiosent cannot prevent a recipient from copying, screenshotting, or forwarding a link or the information it shows.

Availability and limitations

As a Beta platform, Audiosent may experience maintenance, interruption or failure, and automated outputs may contain inaccuracies. Audiosent is provided on this basis, and Users should not rely on it for functions where such limitations would be unacceptable.
